David Bicket

David Bicket is with the Cloud Industry Forum (CIF – www.cloudindustryforum.org), and had major responsibility for developing CIF’s Code of Practice for Cloud Service Providers.  He also led C-SIG’s initial efforts to develop an EU Data Protection Code of Conduct.  David is active in SLALOM’s work to develop a model Cloud Service Agreement, and also technical specifications for SLO metrics, both of which are intended to facilitate contracting for cloud services especially for SMEs.  David is also active in ISO standards development work for cloud computing (SC38) and IT asset management (SC7 WG21 of which he was convener for 7 years).  He is a qualified accountant (CPA), a qualified banker (ACIB), a certified information systems auditor (CISA), and has been working in IT for over 40 years.
